C is for Cookie
My friend Lari’s insisting that I need to post more, so here is the exciting news of the day.
I am baking cookies!
I just got done making brandied cranberry and white chocolate chip cookies which I’ve made before and can assure you are most delicious. The first time I made them I used dark chocolate chips because I didn’t have any white and while yummy, they’re definitely tastier with the white chips. I also got creative this time and added in some crushed up macadamia nuts. Mmmm, cookies.
Next on the list is some gingerbread cookies. I haven’t tried this recipe before so I will have to report back after they’re baked as to whether the recipe is worth trying or not. I haven’t got gingerbread man cookie cutters and I’m feeling wintery hibernating lazy today so my cookies shall be random cookie cutter shapes. There will be no gingerbread man cannibalizing under my roof!
(Also, I would like to note for Stef, that Simply Recipes has a little measurement converter in the sidebar so there’s no guessing when you make some Monster Cookies! )
